Posting this because it’s a thing that seriously bugs me.

The first one is the Union Flag - or Union Jack - it is the flag of Britain. Made up of the English, Scottish and Northern Irish flags. 

The second one is the Flag of St George. The English Flag. 

Learn the bloody difference.

And stop using the Union Jack when you do in fact just mean England.

#Also - The ‘Jack’ is an abbreviated form of the national flag usually flown from the bow of a ship during wartime. #There really is a difference between the union flag and union jack #Basically it’s union flag when hoisted on land #it’s union jack when hoisted at sea #got it?

I’m Welsh and feel totally left out. :(
